Orcas, also called killer whales, are toothed whales that belong to the dolphin family.
Orcas are often referred to as the “wolves of the sea” due to their cooperative hunting behavior and strategic tactics when hunting for prey.
Orcas are apex predators, which means they are on top of the food chain for their environment.
Orcas are extremely fast swimmers and have been recorded at speeds of up to 33 mph.
Orcas are known to hunt and consume a variety of prey, including sea turtles, sea lions, small seals, and even larger animals like blue whales.
