These cute DIY mustache and eye glasses window clings are fun for windows or mirrors around the house. They are easy to make with the printable window cling template and are good for giggles with kids of all ages. Use them for a party or as a special “just because” surprise.
Make Mustache & Eye Glasses Window Clings
The idea to create these disguise window clings came about when my niece came to visit. She is 12 years old and in that in-between stage.

She loves doing activities with us, our band bracelets and the peeps playdough were her recent favorites, but she’s also thinking about what is “cool” and sometimes Kids Activities Blog craft ideas don’t fit her interests. This easy craft and fun activity is inspired by her and the fun we had after we made these simple mirror clings.

Supplies Needed
- Printable of our Mustaches and Eye Glasses
- Fabric Paint (we used Red and Black)
- Glass Casserole Dish
- Optional: CD Cases (for storage)
How to Make Window Clings
Step 1
Make sure your glass casserole dish is clean and free of grease. You might want to rub it quickly with rubbing alcohol to make sure it’s clean enough.
Print the mustache and eye glasses window cling template:
Step 2
Lay the printable of the mustaches underneath your casserole dish. “Color” inside the lines of the face accessories with the fabric paint.
You will want the paint to be pretty thick, roughly 1/4th an inch deep.
Step 3
Sit the dish somewhere for it to dry. It will need to be completely dry before you can use the clings. Our face parts took roughly 48 hours to fully cure.
Step 4
Gently peel your clings off of the dish. Store them in a CD case or another flat plastic or glass surface.
What to Do with your DIY Mustache & Eye Glass Clings
- Decorate the mirror and make faces at your self.
- Add one to the side of a cup.
- Accessorize the back of your iphone, or the front of your locker.
- Put them on a door/window and doodle the rest of the face with a dry eraser marker.

- Glass Casserole Dish

Instructions
- Print the mustache and glasses template.
- Clean the glass casserole dish - wipe with alcohol if needed.
- Place the template under the casserole dish and fill in the mustache and eye glasses shapes with fabric paint.
- Allow to dry overnight or longer if needed.
- Peel off the window clings.
- Place on mirror or window.
